How Song Lyrics Reinforce Our Vision

Here’s something I posted in a thread on ‘Rebecca Fine’s forum about song lyrics. I refer to two songs, first the song posted by Tig Wallis, and second, my song ‘Techno Toys Blues’ (available on Mole Records, Listening Pearls, credited to Anima Sound System)

that’s when i take
one more step
got no time to stop and
catch my breath
whenever i feel like there’s
nothing left
that’s when i get up and take
one more step

one day i met the luckiest man
asked him what’s your secret do you have a plan
he said, i don’t know but on this i can bet
the harder i work the luckier i get
(excerpt from song by Tig Wallis

It’s a good song, but the lyrics don’t quite resonate with the Certain Way of living or thinking…

One of things we teach here is that it’s very important to take time and catch our breath - contrary to the teaching of your song, we believe that when life gets rough it’s because we are out of sync with our natural vibration and we have to slow down and get back in touch with our essence…

Nor do we believe “the harder i work the luckier i get” - again, our philosophy is that we have to take it easy to get lucky :D and the easier we take it the luckier we get…

None the less, your song lyrics have good rhythm..:-)

One of my pre-SOGR songs talks about not having any money - “got no bucks..” that’s a no-no. We don’t want to emphasize what’s missing in our lives, we want to emphasize what’s here that’s good and right because we believe what we give our attention to grows…

Good luck! :)
