I’m taking a course right now that stresses the importance of following instructions.

Anytime we buy a new gadget, it comes with a set of instructions. Software also comes with instructions. I used to read instructions, then I got so I just wanted to get started…and stopped bothering with instructions. Especially with software. I just install it, open it and start winging it. That has both positive and negative implications. The positive are I can get started, the negative are, I sometimes forget there are instructions and when something doesn’t work right I get frustrated and waste a lot of time, when if I would just read the instructions things would go more smoothly.

Word Press - the software I use for this slog comes with instructions. I started reading them today. Hope for big changes.
