CD Release
Right. The compilation CD I am on was released last night. There was a CD release party on the a38 ship. I have no idea what any of it is like other than my song, as I have not yet seen, or heard the CD! All I know is that I am supposed to be in good company: Noam Chomsky has a track on it, as well as Heidi Levo of Eze rollers. I know who Noam Chomsky is, but I haven’t the foggiest idea who Heidi Levo is. I’ve never heard her, nor have I met her. Yet when I do a Google for her name, a zillion pages come up. I am told - by the producer of the CD - that she is a big star in the dance music world.
This is my first CD…why did I think it would be different? Wow! Am I really that naive? I mean, I know I grew up in the back woods of Canada, where I went to a two-room school house with an outhouse for a toilet and was taken to the fields to pick potatoes when I was 9 years old - but gee - I sure would like a copy of that CD!
I didn’t go to the CD release party because I wasn’t included in the concert, and chose instead to stay at the Making New Waves Festival getting my mind blown by the aggressive sights and sounds of s.s.s. from France.
