Psychedelia for the New Millenia
I heard the amazing Amorphous Androgynous last night on BBC6 - immediately following the Freak Zone - and well… I just visited their website and that does it, that really does it.
I’m gonna find me a pro!
Afterall, I am rapping on Anima Sound System’s soon-to-be-released new CD and I need a more visually exciting website. It’s not like I don’t have some interesting art of my own to show-off.
“Oh where oh where is my manager? or where oh where can s/he be? I need her/him to organise, so I can simply be…”
Do all artists suffer from this practical management dilemma? If I manage things, I don’t get any art done, if I do the art, nothing else gets done - I even forget to eat! (Which may not be such a bad thing for a few days.)
I know - I need a WIFE! But I settle for a GOOD MAN*. If worse comes to worse, I’ll settle for a GOOD MANAGER and at the very least, a CREATIVE WEB DESIGNER.
Applications for all above mentioned postions are now being accepted. Apply by leaving a comment describing what you think the job would involve, how you perceive yourself doing it, and what kind of remuneration/reward you want for doing it.
*A GOOD MAN Years ago, when I was a deejay at the University of Ottawa’s radio station, I used to play Joan Armatrading’s ‘Thinking Man’…. It still fits.
